Mit einem kühlen Bier in der Hand unter freiem Himmel einer Band lauschen – es braucht nicht mehr für das absolute Sommerglücksgefühl. Auch dieses Jahr haben wir euch deshalb wieder die liebsten Sommerfestivals der Tsüri-Redaktion zusammengestellt.

17. bis 19. Mai 2019 im Stall 6, Nordflügel und El Lokal Wenn bei der Gessnerallee wieder kein Durchkommen ist, dann weisst du: Die Festivalsaison ist eröffnet. Das Lauter Festival ist sozusagen die Startrampe in den Festivalsommer. Dieses Jahr spielen musikalische Perlen wie Gina Eté, Messina und Frank Powers.
24. und 25. Mai 2019 in Wollishofen Das Openair Wollishofen findet dieses Jahr schon im Mai statt. Vielleicht weil es letztes Jahr vom Landenbergfest UND dem Openair Bounce Bounce konkurriert wurde. Anyway, in Wollyhood kannst du auch dieses Jahr wieder zuerst den Bands lauschen und danach an der Afterparty abshaken.
31. Mai und 1. Juni 2019 in Albisrieden Ein Wochenende im Jahr verwandelt sich Albisrieden in ein Musik-Liebhaber*innen-Mekka. Vorstadt Sounds gewinnt dieses Jahr den Pokal für das Line-Up mit den lustigsten Bandnamen: «One Lucky Sperm», «Dennis Kiss & The Sleepers», «Johnny & The Rocketboy» und «The Black Heidis» stehen auf dem Programm.

14. und 15. Juni 2019, Stolzewiese im Kreis 6 Das Stolze Openair ist das grösste Gratis-Openair der Stadt. Verlieren wir nicht zu viele Worte darüber, lassen wir lieber dieses schöne Video (und Charly) sprechen.
14. und 15. Juni 2019, Landenbergpark in Wipkingen Ist dir das Stolze Openair zu voll, gefällt dir das kleine süsse Landenbergfest vielleicht besser: Auf dieser Wiese in Wipkingen spielen dieses Jahr unter anderem «Eyebrows of Death» und «Sophie Louise».
29. Juni 2019 im Schindlergutpark Im «Schigu» organsieren Jugendliche jedes Jahr das Openair Bounce Bounce. Ihr Ziel ist es, dem Kreis 6 «etwas mehr Lebensfreude und Musik einzuhauchen». Ob ihnen das dieses Jahr wieder gelingt und ob das Openair den tiefsten Altersdurchschnitt aller Festivals hat, findest du am besten grad selber raus.
21. und 22. Juni 2019 Wipkingerwiese Das Openair Wipkingen hat sich bezüglich Webseitendesign wieder selbst übertroffen: Letztes Jahr zeigten sie eine Alufolie mit allen Bands drauf. Dieses Jahr dreht sich ein Schraubenzieher, der die Farbe wechselt, medidativ im Kreis. Am «Wipkinger» spielen nicht nur Top Bands, du kannst dir auch am Stickerbazar von Boskovic/Scarth einen schönen Aufkleber gönnen.

6. Juli 2019, Brahmsstrasse im Kreis 3 Du brauchst keine Wiese, um ein Fest zu schmeissen, eine Strasse tut es auch. Am Brahmsstrassenfest gibt es am Nachmittag ein Töggeliturnier, Lotto und ein Kasperlitheater. Am Abend dann spielen Bands aus der Gipsy-, Folk- und Chanson-Ecke.
1. August 2019, Bäckeranlage Das Lineup für das Äms Fäscht am Schweizer Nationalfeiertag ist zurzeit noch nicht bekannt. Bekannt ist aber, dass das Äms Fäscht auch dieses Jahr wieder eine Food-Strasse mit Kottu Roti und anderen Leckereien haben wird.
17. und 18. August 2019, Idaplatz Letztes Jahr war das Idaplatzfest nur einen Tag kurz, heuer dauert es wieder zwei Tage. Was uns genau auf der Bühne erwartet, ist noch eine Überraschung.
23. und 24. August 2019, Röntgenplatz im Kreis 5 Momentan ist der Röntgenplatz noch eine riesige Baustelle, aber Ende August sollten die Bauarbeiten beendet sein. Oder tanzen wir am Röntgenplatzfest 2019 auf Baggern und Betonmischern? Man darf gespannt sein.
6. und 7. September 2019, Brache Guggach beim Radiostudio Ein grosser Vorteil der Musikwelle Guggach: Auch wenn es regnet, brauchst du keine Gummistiefel. Der Untergrund ist nämlich Kies. Musikalische Höhepunkte sind dieses Jahr Elio Ricca, Šuma Čovjek, Veronica Fusaro und Manta Youf. Letztes Jahr sah das Ganze übrigens so aus:
14. September 2019, hinter dem Waldgarten Das Schwamenair ist das wohl herzigste kleine Festival von ganz Zürich. Auf einem grossen Platz hinter dem Waldgarten, einem zu einer WG umfunktionierten alten Restaurant, findet es am 14. September zum fünften Mal statt. Endlich mal ein richtig guter Grund, nach Schwäme zu fahren.
