Miyuko

Ein kleines, süsses Schlaraffenland mit japanischem Flair – mitten in Zürich und doch versteckt. So beschreiben die Inhaber*innen Sara Hochuli und Dominik Grenzler ihren 2011 gegründeten Tearoom. Für den «Gnüsser Zmorge» oder den «Kafi Klatsch für Prinzen und Prinzessinnen» reisen die Gäste von weit her. Es lohnt sich deshalb zu reservieren. Das Miyuko bietet übrigens nicht nur veganen Brunch, sondern liefert auf Bestellung auch leckere Torten wie den «Dreamcake» mit Schokolade, Maracuja und Mango. Da ist man gleich Lost in Paradise – übrigens der Name einer Torte.

Kafi dihei

Hier fühlt man sich wie zuhause: Das liebevoll eingerichtete Kafi erinnert an die Stube der Grosseltern. Wie bei Oma gibt es hier zum Frühstück Waffeln, Omelette oder Pancakes.

Grand Café Lochergut

Restaurant, Bar und Café in einem und mitten im Kreis 4. Hier gibt es laut Karte «Funky Brunch». Und tatsächlich: von karamellisierter Grapefruit bis Chicken Shawarma verspricht der Brunch eine kulinarische Reise für den Gaumen zu werden. Das klassische Pain au chocolat gibt es hier natürlich auch.

Beetnut

Die urbane Wohlfühloase bietet Bowls und Smoothies, aber auch Klassiker wie Pancakes und Porridges. Nach einem ausgiebigen Frühstück kann man sich hier mit Desserts wie einem «Raw Passionfruit Cheesecake» anscheinend «blissful treaten». Roots

Das Roots ist wie der Name schon sagt in Zürich fest verwurzelt. Mit einem Coconut-Porridge kann man hier die ganze Woche hindurch gesund in den Tag starten. Das Brunch-Angebot am Wochenende gibt schon mehr her: Neben Tacos und Açai-Bowls werden hier (Protein)Shakes und Juices ganz gross geschrieben. So gibt es zum Beispiel die Espresso-Dattel-Cashewmilch-Mischung als «Million Dollar Shake»; der kostet zum Glück nicht ganz so viel.

Hammam Basar + Salon

Rosen-Prosecco und Dattelpraline: Das Hammam im Zürcher Seefeld überzeugt nicht nur mit entspannenden Massagen, sondern auch mit der orientalischen Brunchkarte. Das wochenendliche Nomaden-Frühstück gibt es für 50 Franken auch im Picknickkorb für zwei; gemeinsam unter der warmen Herbstsonne frühstücken... Hach... Ab dem 1. Oktober gibt es im Salon übrigens jeden Donnerstagabend vegane Tavolata, das heisst gefüllte Weinblätter, Taboulé und Hummus soweit das Auge reicht.

Maison Raison

Das ehemalige Maison Blunt hat nicht nur den Namen geändert, sondern auch die Küche; die ist nun komplett vegan und bietet täglich bis 16 Uhr Frühstück an. Petit, Raison, Complet und Oriental; Wo das eine Angebot mit Dinkelzopf und Butter punktet, setzt das andere auf Tahini-Hummus, Ricotta-Frischkäse oder orientalisches Tsatsiki.
