Diese urbanen Millennials könnten es ins Parlament schaffen

Es gibt nicht viele, aber es gibt sie: Die jungen Städter*innen, die für uns in den National- und/oder Ständerat wollen. Wir zeigen dir jene mit den besten Chancen.

Es gibt einige Bevölkerungsgruppen, die sind im nationalen Parlament übervertreten; zum Beispiel die älteren weissen Männer. Und genauso gibt es einige Gruppen, die sind untervertreten; zum Beispiel Frauen, Migrant*innen, normale Arbeitnehmende, Junge und Städter*innen.
 
Es ist einigermassen seltsam: Wie das Datenteam vom SRF analysiert hat, sind Junge und Städter*innen unter den Kandidierenden übervertreten. Aber tatsächlich gewählt wurden bei den letzten Wahlen nur vier Politiker*innen, die höchstens 30 Jahre alt sind.
 
Werden wir dies bei den nächsten Wahlen vom 20. Oktober ändern?
 
Heute in unserem Blickfeld: Die (mehr oder weniger) jungen Kandidierenden aus den Städten Zürich und Winterthur mit intakten Wahlchancen.

1. Mattea Meyer (SP, bisher) 
Die 1987 geborene Winterthurerin ist zwar noch jung, aber politisch bereits sehr erfahren: Von 2009 bis 2013 war sie Vize-Präsidentin der Juso, ab 2011 sass sie für zwei Jahre im Zürcher Kantonsrat und seit 2015 vertritt Meyer die jungen, linken und urbanen Menschen im Nationalrat. Nun, bei den Wahlen im Oktober, startet sie vom 4. Platz auf der SP-Liste und hat so beste Chancen, erneut für vier Jahre nach Bern geschickt zu werden.

2. Fabian Molina (SP, bisher) 
Auch Fabian Molina ist noch jung (1990 geboren) und hat politisch schon so einiges erlebt: Als Juso-Chef wurde er ab 2014 in der ganzen Schweiz bekannt, politiserte währenddem im Gemeinderat von Illnau-Effretikon, rutschte 2017 in den Kantonsrat und 2018 in den Nationalrat nach, als Tim Guldimann vorzeitig seinen Rücktritt erklärte. Heute lebt Molina in Zürich und vertritt so uns urbane Millenials. Vom 6. Platz aus sollte die Wiederwahl zu schaffen sein.

3. Tiana Angelina Moser (GLP, bisher) 
Die 1970 geborene GLP-Politikerin schafft es gerade noch knapp auf diese Liste: 40 ist zwar das neue 30, aber eine Millenial ist sie nur mit viel Goodwill. Seit zwölf Jahren politisiert Tiana Angelina Moser bereits im Nationalrat und präsidiert inzwischen auch die Fraktion der Grünliberalen. Nun hat sie ein neues Ziel: Moser will nicht nur wieder in den Nationalrat gewählt werden, sie will auch in den Ständerat und fordert dort die bisherigen Daniel Jositsch (SP) und Ruedi Noser (FDP) heraus. Diese Ambition wird wohl nicht in Erfüllung gehen, während die Wiederwahl in den Nationalrat vom 1. Listenplatz aus kein Problem sein wird.

4. Bastien Girod (Grüne, bisher) 
Ihn kennen wir auch schon seit einer gefühlten Ewigkeit; zumindest seit er sich damals für die Offroader-Initiative nackt in der Zeitung abdrucken liess. Bastien Girod wurde 1980 geboren, war bei den Jungen Grünen aktiv und wurde 2007 als erst 26-Jähriger in den Nationalrat gewählt. Heute ist der knapp 40-Jährige Umweltwissenschafter bereits ein sehr erfahrener Politiker und dürfte die Wiederwahl locker schaffen.
 
Seine Schlagworte: Nachhaltigkeit für die Umwelt, die Gesellschaft und die Wirtschaft.

5. Corina Gredig (GLP, neu) 
Die erste dieser seltenen Spezies ist die 32-Jährige GLP-Politikerin Corina Gredig. Ihre politische Karriere ist noch kein Jahrzehnt alt, doch hat sie für ihre Partei bereits wichtige Positionen inne: Corina Gredig präsidiert zusammen mit Nicola Forster die Kantonalpartei, war von 2017 für zwei Jahre Zürcher Gemeinderätin, bevor sie dann in den Kantonsrat wechselte. Die Chancen stehen gut, dass die Zürcherin im Oktober die nächste Stufe erklimmt und vom 3. Platz aus in den Nationaltrat gewählt wird.

6. Andri Silberschmidt (FDP, neu) 
Der Noch-Präsident der Jungen FDP Schweiz wurde 1994 geboren, lebt in Zürich und steht auf dem 8. Platz der FDP-Liste (bei aktuell 6 Sitzen für die Partei). Der junge Liberale hat also durchaus Chancen, im Oktober gewählt zu werden; allerdings sind diese nicht allzu gross. Durch seine Bekanntheit und seinen sehr aktiven Wahlkampf dürfte er ein gutes Ergebnis erzielen, und wenn es nicht für die direkte Wahl reicht, dann wird er bei Rücktritten in den folgenden vier Jahren nachrücken können.
